How could domain age affects the website's rankings?
Domain age itself isn't a huge ranking factor on its own - Google's mostly interested in the trust and history that comes with an older domain (consistent content, backlinks earned over time, no penalty history) rather than the age number itself. A 6-month-old domain with solid, natural backlinks can outrank a 5-year-old domain that's been neglected. So it's less "older = higher rank" and more "older domains tend to have accumulated the things that actually help rank.Domain age itself isn't a huge ranking factor on its own - Google's mostly interested in the trust and history that comes with an older domain (consistent content, backlinks earned over time, no penalty history) rather than the age number itself.
