SEO in 2025 is switching to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) as more and more people use AI for search results through ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. Even the Google results now use AI, so you either adapt or get left behind in searches.

You should still do the SEO basics of keywords and content, but now incorporate snippets, quotes, citations, etc that get picked up by AI bots that will then quote your site in their own articles.

As an extra tip, Copilot uses Bing results, so if you're already optimized for that search engine then you only need to tweak a bit more to be fully optimized.

Hey there, welcome to SEOClerk! ????
It's awesome to see new faces excited about SEO in 2025. Here's what I can share based on current trends:

Top SEO Tactic:
Right now, a strong focus on helpful, human-first content is working best. Google’s algorithms in 2025 prioritize value-driven content that actually answers users' questions. Also, building authority with topical clusters (interlinking related content around a main topic) has really boosted rankings.

New Tools/Techniques:
I'm loving SurferSEO for content optimization and NeuronWriter for AI-driven topic research. Also, programmatic SEO (automating large-scale content creation while maintaining quality) is getting bigger.

Keeping Up with Updates:
I subscribe to sites like Search Engine Journal, follow people like Barry Schwartz on X (Twitter), and always test things myself. SEO now changes so fast — real-world testing + staying informed is the key!
